Gelling and Thornley are both starting to look pretty good IMO. I'd stick with letting them fight for the 4 shirt next season. If we sign Bowen then I'm happy going into next season. No idea what we'll do with Sarginson assuming he's signed.

Not keen at all. He was average when he was at Wigan, same at Leeds and I don't think he's been great at Wakefield, but if he comes I'll give him a chance.

I reckon he'll be in the mix with Flower, Taylor, Crosby, Dudson, Powell, Lauaki, Spencer and Greenwood.

As has been said, not impressed at all but will give the lad a chance.

Amor is a real workhorse prop. He struggled at Leeds but has come on leaps and bounds at Wakefield. I would be happy with the signing, but only if it was to replace Lauaki.



If it is an addition to the Prop lineup I do not think he is needed, especially when we have other areas the need strengthening.

What's Spencer's contract situation? He's been on the fringes of the 1st team for a couple of seasons now without ever looking like nailing down a regular spot in the 17. Surely he'll be first for the door if we are bringing in another prop?

Can't see why we would sign yet another prop unless he's a superstar. Even if we sell Lauaki I still wouldn't have thought we would need to replace him. Dudson and Flower to start, Crosby and Taylor off the bench, A.Powell, Hopkins, Spencer and Greenwood in reserve

Get rid of Luauki, in sure Salford would sin him and then replace him with Amor, I'd have Amor over Luauki anyday.

Salford are to announce signings so are Bradford, then there's Widnes who's props are not the best. Any of those could be destinations for any prop who may be leaving us.

As Wakefield are imploding are there any rumours about What's happening with Tuson?

Also talk in this evenings MEN that Wakefield may have to consider offers for other players.

Rogues mentioned a Aussie Centre at Wakefield ( Collis or something like that) Salford have shown an interest, but nothing definite .

He's made his bed, saw the "money" at Wakey - I can't think of any other logical reason why he'd go there.



I hope he stays personally but if I were him I'd be desperately trying to find a way out of the contract.

Put a bid in for Collis. Goulding is never good enough. He was having a stinker at Wembley before he was KO'ed

Goulding is alright, he just became really overrated last year when he started doing fairly well at centre. Worth his spot in the team, we have enough changes thrust upon us with players underperforming/leaving without getting rid of the ones who are doing a solid, if unspectacular job IMO. Perhaps further down the line Thornley and Gelling might both overtake him and take the 3 and 4 shirts.

Set a standard, if better players become available bring them in. Never settle.

Goulding's not a superstar but he links with Charnley well and it is good to have players who have been at the club for a long while (That's only Goulding, McIlorum, Hansen and O'Loughlin after this year). I doubt whether there are any players available who are much better anyway.



Collis signed a new contract in June, why weren't Wire, Huddersfield and St Helens chasing his signature if he's so good? It's not like Bridge, Wardle or Turner are better centres than Goulding. Could it be that he stands out in a poor team, whereas Goulding looks average in a great team? I've not seen too much of Wakefield so maybe he is a hidden gem but I'd be loathe to get rid of a long serving player who is doing a solid job for ought less.
