Apparently DAZN are keen to take over Superleague broadcasting, from a personal point of view it’s a bit of a ball ache as I don’t have DAZN but for the league it’s great we now have competition for the rights and hopefully more money from it. Hopefully it will just make Sky bid more.

He has been terrible whenver i have seen him play. Ritson, Whitley and an over the top Clark. In a season where Wellens HAD to get recruitment right, he seems to be getting it wrong (to me anyway) His recruitment has shades of the Cunningham era. Players vastly inferior to the ones they already have or are preparing to lose. Tough times ahead for Saints.

Ritson I expected more, I thought he’d be like Kevin Penny, a liability at times but also scoring some great long range try’s but he’s just been a bit meh. It is however a salary capped sport and you can’t have stats in every position, Whitley is okay but the big one is Clarke, he was brilliant at Cas and has done well at Warrington but maybe a little underwhelming considering how good he was at Cas, wouldn’t surprise me if he did really well at Saints and I would have taken him over Leeming personally.

Agree re Clarke. He’s had a few tough years but this season and particularly during this dire Wire spell I think he has still looked very dangerous.



I’d be disappointed if we did not go in for him given we were in the market for a 9 even if it was just to bump up his wages at Saints.

I used to have premier sports when they had NRL, footy show. If they can offer more rugby I would cancel sky, sick of funding other sports to get their coverage of SL

Miskis interview at the end of the game with Wigan TV is edited and misses out a question I assume is are you resigning for the club. Strange it was edited and Miski says something along the lines of it’s a great club and that’s the plan right now. Wonder what was cut out or if it’s a bad edit and they did it to cut down on the time of the interview

Feel a bit bad about saying this as the interviewer is clearly learning on the job but the quality of the interviews is pretty poor on Wigan TV. Formulaic questioning and more edits than Titanic.
