No mention of the amount spent in 2012 on transfer monies going out for Matty Smith. Blake Green and Scott Taylor.
2012 Wigan were League Leaders and the club made a profit.
2013 Wigan won the Challenge Cup, the Grand Final and were Champions.
Monies from those events will be included in the 2013 accounts which if they make a profit, will be four years running Wigan have won trophies and made a profit.
As for 2014, sales of season tickets are good thus far and the transfer monies from Sam Tomkins, Lee Mossop and Gareth Hock will appear in the accounts.
Altogether the Wigan club is very well run indeed both on and off the field.

He's done everything here, probably needs a new challenge and a nice increase in wages, he's got a young family, can't blame him. Sad to see him leave but good luck to him, I feel John Bateman, if we can keep him fit, can be a ready made replacement for many years to come |
