Mason, yes what he did was naughty by standing on him but then (even though Piggy is appealing to the ref about the stamp) Fielden starts throwing his weight around (to the wrong guy) and Mason gets involved .

Do you know what, I've just watched the highlights for the first time on the Superleague Website. Fielden plays the ball and is quite rightly annoyed at what Mason has done and is complaining heavily to the ref (he wasn't throwing his weight around here). THEN.....Mason runs a full 10 metres and lands him one in the face for good measure!!!

Let's not forget this is Rugby League not tiddly winks and nobody was hurt, I enjoy a bit of biff if both parties are willing and no-one is hurt, most of the time it's wind milling and a bit of handbags.

i've watched it over and over and as i said nothing happens till mason comes running in, hits fielden who then starts to hit back. you must be able to put a different interpretation on the events, perhaps view is a little tainted!!
