1st major announcement (with more to follow)



Simon Collinson - Marketting manager & acting Chief Exec - Has kindly agreed to attend the event and will be taking the Mic to say a few words (He also loves questions about Weetabix & Low % Body Fat!).



For all those who aren't aware Simon was, along with 21-12 & Jimmy Birts, one of the Biggest reasons that the flag idea got off the ground so quickly.

Simon helped us in so many ways and it would be impossible to say how much more difficult this would have been without his support!

He, IMO, even before the flag stuff got under way, was also instrumental in the imporved marketting and promotion of Wigan RLFC (I can't use Warriors!

) from 2005 onwards and despite our sticky on field problems around that time the Off field stuff was improving Year on Year.

I'm sure he'll also be available to answer a few questions on the night.



He did also mention that he gets married a few weeks after this event so he's using it as his Stag do!
