Some saints fans do seem weirdly obsessed with the conditioning aspect. I remember in 2014 when we had a million guys out, they were all banging on about how it’s our strength and conditioning etc, lightyears behind Wigan Leeds and Warrington who don’t suffer anywhere near as many injuries as we do. We are doing something wrong! Last couple of years we have had the best strength and conditioning and the players are all in peak superhuman condition which is why they’re not getting injured. Now there’s a problem again!



It’s almost like injuries are down to luck. Though tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if 3 straight years of playing at our defensive intensity has finally started to take its toll. Lot of hamstring injuries that’s for sure

Yes but they're the sooperdooperist players in the league whilst everyone else's missing players can easily be replaced from the squads

The unfairness of it all......

Yep, strongest squad we've named in a long time. Percy and Sione both back is huge for us in the backs which is where most of our issues have been recently.

I just hope both sides get through to the final because it would be a cracking advert for the game. However, very tough tasks ahead for both teams this week.

Funny what a couple injuries can do isn’t it

I’ve deliberately not gone early with this in case we lost today however….



For all the Wigan fans mocking us talking about injuries they’ve realised now it’s the quality of players out not quantity.



Cust, Farrell and French as a passenger was too much quality missing. We’ve had Dodd out since April, Percival since May and Grace more or less all season. That’s without mentioning Hopoate.



Finally I’m made up Wigan lost but how do you sell a Sport to new fans whereby Leeds make the Final.



They were in genuine crisis this season, sacked a coach, got some beatings, but managed to get just above a 50% win record and then win 2 games and here we are. This isn't an achievement, it's merely being decent for a little while.



We aren’t guaranteed to do 4 in a row but if we do…

I’m also pleased that Smith bottled those goal kicks. Karma for giving it the billy big bollox rubbing Welsby’s head a few weeks ago and laughing in his face. And before you all start I don’t agree with Welsby’s antics at Magic either

I really don’t get why Wigan fans love Smithies so much. He’s clearly a mid table plodder. They could do so much better
