Agreed, its a straight choice and as someone mentioned, its great to have options isn't it. Phelps & Pryce both have negative points, so its really a gamble from Noble to pick the right one.

We hope that Noble doesnt have the make the choice and Ainscough recovers in time.

he has named an unchanged squad. So if Ainscough is out, Pryce is in.

Fair enough like you say its not really a big deal is it - Pryce for me only just got through the Cas game by the skin of his teeth fitness wise. I hear he was superb in the reserve game last week which sounds promising...so we'll see. Ideally as Hogan says we would like to see Ainscough in there but if there is any doubt at all of his fitness he should not play.

Wigan Head Coach Brian Noble has today named his 19 man squad for Friday's engage Super League game away to Leeds Rhinos.



With no injuries from the big win over the Bulls, Brian has confirmed the same 19 on duty for the clash at Headingley-Carnegie, 8pm kick off.

This is looking like a really good opportunity for us.



Yes, as others were saying, it's a great feeling to have some depth in the squad.

He wont miss chance to knock Fielden about.

One thing I will be looking at with interest in this game is how heavily involved Richards becomes in the long kicking game. It was the right move by Wigan to take advantage of him being in the fullback position and utilising his kicking skills in open play.



Although there wasn't much finesse or accuracy in Richards' open play kicks against Bradford, at least he got some distance on the thing- something that our halfbacks have struggled with. I hope we continue to utilise him for this, certainly when we're stuck deep in our own half.



Improvements in the kicking game and also far better discipline have been key reasons behind our improvement.

Then again playing their reserves could work in their favour. It did with us.



Lets hope we don't get complacent.

Sam Tomkins long kicking game was very good v Bradford - most of them bounced on the ground split between the winger and FB, giving our defence a few extra seconds to chase.

Then again, Mathers shouldnt be playing.
