Heard a rumour Justin Poore could be a player we are looking at. Very risky signing if it came to anything.



Improved form this year but still a major injury cloud over him, and I am also not sure he is the natural leader that I think we need to complement our your set of front row forwards.

With Lima gone and Mossop maybe going then we'll need more than Scott Taylor added to our front row next year.

Interesting to see how Finch will fit into the Melbourne line up. He aint going to replace Widdop and certainly not Cronk so he must be a squad player.

Was very good a couple of seasons back, but I agree, he's be plagued with injuries so much so I'm sure there was a report on how he applied to be a plumber or something as he thought his career was over.



Defo not a leader IMO. One day, as unrealistic as it might be, I'd love to see Sam Burgess if he was ever to come back to the UK. Already a natural leader at Souths, offers so much at still a relatively young age. Good enforcer to boot.

Sadly, I think Burgess will be finished in 5 years time with the way he plays. Hope im wrong as he is an exceptional player

I think he is very similar player to Morley and he has lasted a fair duration.

I wonder if we'll see Harrison Hansen move up to front row on the next couple of years. He's only 27 and IMO would make a superb prop forward with another stone in weight. He's tough, durable and quick enough, plus a brilliant defender.



We have Hughes, Farrell, Tuson and Lloyd for the back row spot.

If it this case that Mossop is leaving, aswell as the others. Then I really do fear the worst. The massive optimism for the near future that I had in 2010 is rapidly disappearing.

Possibly. I expect Hughes to play a lot more games next year and become a fixture in our strting 17. Lloyd will get more game time in 2013 and then become a fixture thereafter. I think both these lads are extremely talented and I fully expect them to play at the highest level.

Hughes and Lloyd may be very talented but it is a big gap to bridge between U20s and SL. Lloyd has little SL experience and Hughes quite a bit now.

What I noticed though in the play off game v Catalans was when Matty Smith came on Hughes was spelled. He looked exhausted and could hardly put one foot in front of the other. That was after about 20 mins.

They could well be bench players next year but are a couple of seasons away from going 80 minutes however talented they are.

I have no info about mossop going to the NRL.
