Fantastic game.



I didnt think much to the referee, some very strange decisions, went against both sides (wasn't just harsh on Wigan).

No often I find myself agreeing with the Sky muppets but that was bloody fantastic to watch.



When and where have you seen anything better over the last 12 days.

Must say I really enjoyed tonight's game. It makes you realise the gap between clubs like Bradford and the likes of Saints or Wigan. I thought Saints were a little lucky to win but Wigan just bombed and gifted too many chances. Something they'll need to rectify to turn a Minor Premiership into GF success.

dont undersell the game by having a pop at the ref, massive credit to both teams for giving us a thrilling game off passion, high intensity, bravery, great spectacle and great advert for our greatest game in very hot conditions and credit to both sets off fans backing their teams to the final hooter and beyond. credit to the game. this for both sets of players

Best Super League game on TV so far this season.

I would say warrington vs Wigan was better but that's probably because we won that one

I'd rather lose like that every single week than have the seasons we've had the past couple of years. Just fantastic efforts from both teams





The ref made some dodgy decisions for both teams but luckily it didnt ruin the game, no more needs to be said about him TBH.

The ref made some weird decisions for both sides, but we just weren't quite with it today and saints had the rub of the green.

I enjoyed it, despite the loss. To pull it back to 2 points, with 4 minutes to go took some guile. We just needed some composure throughout the purple patches and we would have been OK.



Nevertheless, still top of the league and I'm still having a laugh.

dont care that we lost, fantastic game played in a fantastic spirit, tough committed players with skill speed and athleticism, giving their all for their team. Well played Wigan and well played Saints. Wonderful game of rugby and both sets of players are a credit to their wonderful fans.

Agree with most of the things that previous posters have said,credit to both teams but i am a Saints fan get in there.

It was an outstanding game.I was getting wound up,and I am neutral.Well done both teams.

It was a brilliant game. I'd loved to have watched it as a neutral so I could have enjoyed it without the heart attack worries. Brilliant effort by both sides.

Gutted to have lost but what a game, both teams gave it their all ... shame you can't say the same for that shower in South Africa called England.

I do, as there is a worrying pattern here.



We need to learn to be ruthless. This soft underbelly that we are displaying will mean zero trophies this year if we are not careful. That is not progress, that is a step backwards.

It is clearly not a step backwards, for my thoughts on the game see the other threads as this one is not about analysing the game it is about praising 2 teams who put on a great show.

That's quite harsh,just give credit to both teams a fantastic game.



You could say the same about Saints,we had other chances as well.

Isn't it good that the Saints & Wigan derby is back to where it should be. Two champion teams with many local talented lads being given the chance to make there way in our great game. Long may it continue.



An obsolutely awesome game and maybe a draw would probably have been the fairest result (Though I am not complaining that my team won). However saints win certainly opens things up a bit and isn't it nice to see Saints Wigans and the Wire dominating this years league for a change.

Superb game played in the right spirit by all. Hard and fast with lots of passion. No surprise to see lots of local talent in there too.
