I'd get Ainscough back from Cas if I were you - he looked a bit hacked off having to play with that shower on Friday!

There will be no need for ainscough to return. We have enough depth.



We play salford next week followed by Sheffield.



We can probably rest 2 or 3 players for the sheffield game before we face quins at home.



We are battered and bruised but that is what easter does. The bumps will be less painfull with the 4 points on the ladder

TBH i agree. Ainscough is a brilliant player but we dont need him yet, IMO Phelps is better at fullback than Richards and Phelps at 1 and Richards at 5 is more of an attacking threat than Richards at 1 and Ainscough on the wing.

Bailey centre?



We have Joel 'The White Pearl' Tomkins who can play there.

If Phelps is back then its a straight swap, Phelps for Roberts.

Aye, straight swap with Carmont back for Bailey.

I would actually give him another few weeks rest to get fully fit!



We have 3 easier matches on paper, lets not take any risks.

I'm not really interested in how the team will shape up without him as we obviously have a variety of cover. I'm just anxious to find out how bad the injury actually is. I hope to god its not career threatening.

The injury to Amos isn't something we can do anything about. He's gonna be out for a considerable period and our priority now has to be that we make sure both Carmont and Phelps are kept injury free.



We can't afford to have these two being in one week and then out the next which has been the case all season.



Maybe it's time to slacken off the training especially after a tough few weeks?

It won't be career threatening. Just hope its a clean break and doesn't need operating on, if it is a double fracture as rumoured, it all but rules him out for the season.

Looks as nasty as it sounds.

One of his legs underneath looks bent but he actually grabs the other one.



I hope its not too bad but it's not looking brilliant.

Makes me laugh how Aussies pronounce Salford.

Someone just posted on my facebook that he's out for the season with a double fracture.

Good points. Really spoiled the day today and what should have been a great feeling leaving the ground after seeing tries like the one JT scored, Goulding and Richards hat tricks and a debut try for Farell you would think we would be on would nine but it's ruined the bank holiday.

Looking back at the footage on the Wigan Site it does show the opposite leg to look a bit bent. If it is broken I hope he makes a speedy recovery

from what I've heard and read it looks like a shocking accident for Amos, he had out sprinted the defensive line once again and was head towards the posts like players do to utilise it,



I think it was Millard that tried in vain to stop him and both collided with the post,



I was directly behind the posts half way up and knew straight away that all wasn't well, no doubt this has taken the icing of the cake from what was brilliant first half,



I can only just add my best to Amos in his recovery from his injury
