Doesn't take a massive injury crisis for wigan to have a team full of kids. Most of our best players are academy lads. Makes me very proud to support this team.
Didn't say that you'd said that comment Wilde. You must admit it does happen every year with some of your support. Particularly when you signed Ellis.
For what it's worth, Pritchard is a great signing, one I'd have at wigan if there was room in the backrow.

For years our academy was under funded and neglected. Adam Pearson, despite his faults, did invest a lot of money into the facilities, and that is beginning to bear fruit now. Abdull has a touch of quality about him (just needs to lose weight in the off season), Jack Logan looks good at Centre, and we have some good halves in Reece Dean (and Harry Tyson Wilson who Barrie McDermott always raves about).
Matongo who will play tomorrow has only played rugby for 2 years (he is from Zimbabwe) but he runs it in very hard and has the potential to make it. |

I'm not at all convinced by Harry Tyson Wilson, albeit from limited viewing, but I think Turgut could be a top player if he "fills out" |

If there was ever a player/prop that epitomises what Wane loves then it's Dodds. Hes an extremely hard worker, loves the defensive side of things and has a great attitude. His go forward isn't the kind of stuff to write home about but you never know if the step back to SL will see him improve.
Ticked all the boxes of a guy who could have slotted straight into ourside imo. |

We took Mossop back... Lockers did his ACL years ago as well and he didn't turn out too badly. |
