I think we need to get real about James Graham. It's very, very unlikely to happen. As for Fielden leaving - I doubt Celtic would be prepared to match the wages we're paying him, even for one year, so I suspect that's a non-starter as well.

Anyone see today's Guardian article that states Kyle Eastmond might be in the sights of Warrington if he can't agree a contract extension? Do we think he could do a job at 7 with Tomkins at 6?

Warrington are starting to sound a little like Saints did under Alex Murphy, linking themselves with everyone and anyone.



If there's one British player today who is likely to command a truly colossal wage - given his immense talent and potential, but more importantly his huge ego and the even huger ego of his agent - it's Kyle Eastmond.



It's stretching it to imagine that Wire could fit FFMM under their cap, but Eastmond!!! Unless they're planning to release another four or five players, who do they think they're kidding (apart from their fans)?



Eastmond to Wigan? We must have more space available than Warrington, and he'd be a brilliant acquisition, but I'm sure RU will be able to offer a whole lot more than us.

Just a thought on you offloading Fielden (who IMO is still a good if not great prop) Hull kr are paying half of Fozzards wages next year as they messed up with the salary cap (nice for us though), could you and celtic come to a similar arrangement?

I'm sure that would be a possibility, but it may depend on who the club is preparing to replace him with. I don't think they'd let him go unless they had someone lined up.



Who knows? Under MM, Fielden may suddenly be out of his comfort zone, and may start to respond.

I actually hope he does and repair his damaged reputation. Noone like to see a great talent decline.

Apparently he's just had an operation which he's needed for some time. Plus, I now hear that the Wigan team are in for a hellish pre-season. It could be that we see a new Fielden at the end of it, which may benefit England as well as Wigan.

He's fallen out with potter so badly that he posed for a p*ss take photo of him punching potter in the face immediately after the wigan game.

So now Bradford are after him aswell. (probably the only team in super league who are as skint as us)





PS. i know they recieved 200k for Burgess but it would take 750k for Graham.

Fair one. We'll take 900k for him. Who won prop of the year last season ? Beating off competition from Civoniceva and Kite ?

It would certainly make sure no-one goes near him with a bargepole. Not even Union, because they wouldn't want a prop anyway. So he stops at Saints, and his contract runs out, and then he leaves anyway - just as he's coming into his prime - and they don't get a penny.

I have heard that Saints are skint but I’ve never believed it tbf! I know some Saints fans get a little touchy on the subject same with Bradford fans.



Personally I think about 600k would be well worth the asking price for arguably the best prop in SL already at 24.



Although the money would greatly help Saints it could potentially set them back years to lose such a vital cog in their team.

What was the award for ? That implies that there is people out there that believe Graham is the best prop in the world. Just like in Fieldens prime, some people had the same opinion. Was he the best ? debatable as is Grahams title.

Would love it to be true that Fielden follows Noble to Celtic and we snap up James Graham from St.Helens after a bust up with Mick Potter.



But somehow, just somehow, I can't see it happening.

Its true. The fact that McManus et al have converted their directors loans into issued shares, shows how sorry the finances are at our club.



I for one, dont believe that a new stadium is the end of our money worries. Far from it.
