From what i saw on the TV relating to the incident after Celtic scored their second goal he stood at the side of the pitch told his players to get back and someone ran from 30 yards away to assault him.



In the CONTEXT of that situation he appeared to do nothing different to every other football manager.



If you are talking about his previous actions this season and before that then say so.



But if you are going back to justify or explain things then how far are you going back. are you going back to Loyalists threatening to kill him if he played for Northern Ireland again.

Lennon doesn't deserve the threats or being assualted. Lennon could easily calm the situation down though, by behaving in a mature and sensible manner. This he chooses not to do, which only aggravates the situation.
