| Where's that from?
Bit strange if true - Irish Derby has a bigger purse, and there doesn't look like there's a 3yo to touch Workforce. I wouldn't be putting it up against older horses like Fame & Glory on only it's 4th run.

| Well I'm glad they're going for one or the other, and also pleased they're not going down the mile and a quarter Eclipse/International/Irish Champion route.
Nowt to stop it running in both the Irish Derby and King George...

| Quote Wire_85="Wire_85"Spirit Of Adjisa and Beyond double
E/W acca of
Bangor 18:50 Beyond 4/5
Southwell 19:05 Cannon Fire 4/5
Bangor 19:20 Marc Aurele 11/4
Bangor 21:20 Spirit Of Adjisa 5/6
Southwell 19:35 Oursininlaw 6/5'"
Those lucky bookmakers nearly always get saved in accumulator circumstances. Wishing you the best of luck with the last one. You need balls of tungsten to put a five horse acca on at the best of times, let alone on the poorer standard of animal.
The last one looks to have some handy form, and although McCain has a decent entry, a 10lb pull may help the Vaughan horse home. Just backed it myself.

| St Nick didn't please in his gallop last week so missed the Derby. Not overly keen on backing a horse who's not shown anything for 9 months but good luck to those backing him, at the moment he's a massive lay if showing up in the Irish Derby. I wasn't that impressed with him at Newmarket and they felt he didn't handle the undulations of Newmarket so IMO he had no chance of handling Tattenham corner.
Workforce on the other hand was given a great ride by Ryan, sat in perfect position and quickened clear of At First Sight but it wasn't a vintage Derby and he'll have to go on and beat older horses to prove he's above average.

| Wouldn't back SNA until he has shown he's alright in himself but the talent is there for him to win a big pot on his day.
Cheers Wire_85, had a little bit on Spirit of Adjisa, not a lot but won a little bit of pocket-money anyway.

Just a cheeky acca wasn't very confident about it was 20/1
Was confident about Beyond and Spirit Of Adjisa though against these, the jockey booking sold me on Beyond (McCoys only of the day) along with its flat form, Spirit Of Adjisa had some decent placing while at the Kings yard behind good horses.

| I've never put an EW accumulator on, what happens if some of the selections are placed and some win, how does it affect your odds?
Last four bets I've had, three have came in, and the one that didn't was a free bet I'd used. Hope this keeps up.

| I don't bet on the dogs much as I've never had much luck. Just watched the Gymcrack Final from Hall Green then, the winner, Blue Artisan, looks a serious dog going places.

Placed means less like I had two 2nds so I ended up getting bit less then my stake back and if one didn't place then you have done your money.

| Early tip, Dever Dream at Kempton Wednesday 7.20.
Should be too good for these opponents, although not entirely straightforward race.
Might have to take the first price to get any value as it looks set to be a short un. But, then again, as long as it wins the price doesn't matter too much - unless it is that short it isn't a betting proposition whatsoever!

its no longer an official friendly but a contested training session, three thirty minute periods and all 23 players from New Zealand will play at some point
anyone think they will void the bet?

| Couple of E/Ws today.
Resplendent Nova 10/1 Yarmouth
Prince Of Johanne 16/1 Haydock
Just seen that Olivier Peslier is on Makfi instead of Christophe Lemaire.

| In light of the recent victory on ew doubles tonight i intend to do the same.
Just £1 ew (with my luck a £2 stake is too much)
7:20 Kempton Dever Dream @ 8/13
8:20 Kempton Iguacu @ 11/4
6:35 Hamilton El Dececy @ 13/8
7:05 Hamilto Dunmore Boy @ 11/8
8:35 Hamilton Royal Dignitary @ 8/13

| Thinking of doubling Dever Dream and Royal Dignitary.
Dever Dream won, but I decided just to back the latter horse at Hamilton. Hopefully I haven't got it wrong!
Typical, Dever Dream won and the one I backed instead gets beat! Never mind, only had 6 quid on it at 10/11.

I think a blind man could've tipped that one.

| I mentioned it last night incase anyone wasn't planning to have a look at the racecards for tonights meetings.
It won, didn't it, and an early price of 4/6 is better than nothing. A winner is a winner.
Surely this thread is about nipping the bookies for a few quid, or to be allowed to put on a tip does it have to be a 20/1 shot that might sneak third with the wind behind it? Would you rather I had put forward a loser?

| Generally, a tip is a horse with a chance of winning, not usually the favourite but not a rank outsider (unless a Curley horse) not something that is so short as a 4/6 or 8/13.

No a tip is a horse that has a very good chance of winning end of.
Doesn't matter about the price although you probs could of got better then 4/6 early on Betfair.
I have stuck a few hundred on 4/6 shots in the past knowing its spot on and should win but most of the time I will look for another jolly an double up like the other day.
