| That'll be the last time I watch SNF/MNF when I'm in work the next day. Currently drifing off after 3 hours' sleep and lost my fantasy matchup by about 1.6 points thanks to Donald Brown getting injured (yet again!) and Jacoby Jones getting about 8 yards because Matt Schaub kept throwing the ball on check downs to bloody Arian Foster constantly.
Praying for some score recalculations...

| 11. Oakland Raiders (No. 24; 4-4): With 92 points in two games, the Raiders could have a shot at beating the Golden State Warriors.
We'd take Moss in Oakland, but our recievers are good enough.

| Interesting to hear people's views on how they would currently rank each position. I think starting at quarteback would be a good idea.
1. Peyton Manning - Best mind and quarterback in the game. The guy can do it all, just look at last night's game for example. Can take jis team down the field with the game on the line and his ability to see what the defence is doing is second to none.
2.Tom Brady - Great decision maker, very clever with the ball and rarely throw's up nonsense balls. Also has an uncanny ability at making crap look good.
3. Aaron Rodgers - Great, accurate arm. This year has shown great maturity in overcoming adversity with all the injuries the Pack have had, especially with no running game.
I know Rivers, Big Ben and Drew Brees are in the conversation as well, I just think that these three are the best at the current time.

| Hard to disagree, but I will.
Rivers is better than Rodgers currently. Why?
He has surpassed Dan Fouts' NFL record in passing yards through 8 games.
In the majority of games, he has been down and the Chargers have had to pass - making it easier for the defenses to read.
He has had 5 300+ yard games in the first 8 games.
He has managed to accumulate these record numbers without his number 1 WR (and number 2 WR for the last 2 of the 8 weeks).
This isn't a fluke, last year he passed for 4254 yards with a passer rating of 104.5 and 28 TDs. The year before 4009 yards with a passer rating of 105.5 and 34 TDs.
If this was Peyton Manning, he would be given the MVP already.
I could also make cases for Brees and Big Ben vs Rodgers.

That was the hardest one I had to be honest. I just think think numbers aside that Rodgers has been better in a very tricky situation. It's all open to opinion I guess. I think Rivers record hurt's him this season.

Surely all that would make Rivers currently the best rather than just better than Rodgers. (genuine question not trying to wind anybody up!) I'd disagree completely that Big Ben is even in the same league as A-Rod considering he has played only 4 games.
Given it is CURRENT rankings i'd go with:
1. Peyton
2. Rivers- Despite his record he has been exceptional. The fact that no matter how good he is the Bolts lose is a worry
3. Rodgers- Having a "down" year compared to last season but he is still carrying the team on his shoulders. Makes every throw and is as good as any QB in the league.

I know, pain in the backside - I haven't got Sky Sports so I'll have to watch via other means...
We're not on TV for 3 years and then we're on twice in the space of four weeks!

| Following on from yesterday's discussion about the league's best quarterbacks, who would you rate as top three running backs?
1. Adrian Peterson - The name say's it all really. Can go allday and can score from anywhere. Where would the Vikes be without him.
2. Chris Johnson - It seem's he has had a bit of a dropoff in production this year but is still a threat as long as he's on the field.
3. Michael Turner - People will probably disagree with this but I love the guy. Carries alot and has been consitently good the past few years.

| If he continues his current form, Darren McFadden could be a top 5 RB imo. Been outstanding the last few weeks.
