Had a respectable day yesterday, Hurricane Fly being a good winner for me (also on Captain Chris) but the two i really fancied today, So Young and Time For Rupert have shattered my bets today. Far from happy with Time For Rupert who seemed to have everything going for him but I guess you can't always get what you want.

TFR will probably win decent races when the ground is softer than it is today. Gd/sft would be fine. Slightly firmer than it has been past twice & in last years world hurdle.



Massive gamble on MM, now the clear favourite.

Only lost 20 this time, compared to last years disaster, but will never back Master Minded in this race again.

Put £20 on Sizing Europe at the last minute thanks to a mate's persuasive techniques. Think I owe him a pint or two now.

Took my initial stake back + a fiver, then got the rest on Big Buck's for tomorrow at even money.



I am not buying into people making out Grands Crus is the second coming.



Big Buck's will be in trouble if he goes through a flat spot, but he hasn't done that this year yet so he could still be improving too.



Will be interesting to see how the favourite handles these different to usual ground conditions. Used to softer ground, and still quite inexperienced over hurdles.

Just had small bets on Bothy in the next and Kayef (e/w) in the 4.40

Layed a total of £150 at Cheltenham today, so far returning a big fat £0!
