| Quote spooky="spooky"Raps now in a tailspin without CB4. It's getting ugly out there. Just shows what can happen when you don't have a leader and clearly nobody feels like they can step up. Mind you, them's some pretty big shoes to fill. It's disheartening to see their heads go down so easily though. Whoever decided that Bosh should stay home on this last road trip made a bad call. His leadership (even from the sidelines) is clearly missed.'"

With the Raps currently in free fall, it's certainly looking likely that Bosh will be off and the Knicks will be up there on his shortlist. He was royally vexed off after Saturday's game, basically saying there were too many soft players on the team. He said that the NBA was no place for players who let their feelings affect their game. I've been saying for a while that our players are too soft/nice so I totally get where he's coming from. The team did show some fight last night, although it came to nothing in the end. If we can't halt this skid then we'll be out of play-off contention by the end of the week.
The Portland fans spent all night booing Turk. They should have been fecking cheering him for doing them a solid and signing for us. What a massive disappointment he has been. Amir Johnson has been 10 times better than Turk and should be taking his spot in the starting line up. If everyone else on the team played with even 10% of Amir's committment & attitude, we'd be battling Boston for top spot in our division.

| The Raps finally won a game last night, beating the Hawks in a close game that tbh looked to be getting away from them in the dreaded 3rd quarter. Gritty team performance and a great game winner from Bosh, who also became the first Raptor to break the 10,000 point barrier last night. Well done CB4, great achievement. Considering the Hawks kept him pretty quiet last night, he still managed to make the headlines
I'm not sure this is another turning point in a pretty crazy season but fingers are crossed nonetheless.

| Well I think we're officially done. Bosh is gone with a nasty facial fracture. Hedo went for scans after getting head-butted in last night's game and Amir Johnson hobbled off after Big Baby fell on his leg. Walking wounded with a lot of heart but just not enough talent I'm afraid. Sad way for Bosh to end his time in TO

The bulls won a tight one against a banged up Cavs last night 109-108, to pull level with the raps. That been said, the raps already hold the tie breaker over the bulls should they finish with the same record.
I know things are looking grim in Toronto at the moment, but the bulls have been very inconsistent all season, so the final play off spot is stil anybody's imo.

| Cruch game tonight between the raps and the bulls for the final play off spot in the east.
The bulls lost to the nets on friday night for the second time this season, a result that highlights to me that they don't deserve to make the play off's.

| Awful game to watch last night from a Raptors fan perspective. They just didn't seem to ge the significance of the game and played without energy and heart. The Bulls wanted it and deserved to win. They'll have a much better showing in the play-offs than the Raptors. I think we'd just be a total embarassment at this point. Without Bosh, next season is already looking bleak.

| A very good win for the bulls last night against the celtics that should put them in the box seat for the final play off spot, but evrything is still to play for tonight for the raps.
The bulls have a tricky one against the bobcats tonight and the raps play the knicks. With the bulls only one game infront, but the raps holding the tie breaker should they finish on the same record, it's nippy bum time for both sides.

| I wont be too sad if the Bulls win tonight. They're playing like they want that last playoff spot. The Raptors just don't seem to have that ability to step it up for the really big games.

| After what has been an eventful season in the windy city, the bulls managed to clinch the last play off spot in the east by beating the bobcats 98-89.
The bulls have had highs, but mainly lows this season including blowing a 35point lead at home to the kings, going on a 10 game losing streak and off loading John Salmons to the bucks, and Tyrus Thomas to the bobcats mid season to free up cap space for free agency. There has even been a physical confrontation between the coach and the vice president, so how the bulls have made it into the play offs is a minor miricle.
They have finished the season strongly with wins agains the cavs, celtics and bobcats when it really mattered and in affect have been playing play off basketball for about 4 games.
The bulls gave the celtics a run for their money in the play offs last season, so I am hoping they can do the same against the cavs.

| Enjoyed Lebron's disappearing act against the Celtics.
Orlando look the team to beat so far, for me. I think it'll be another Lakers vs Orlando final, with Orlando taking it in 6.

Never. Howard is ineffective when he has to try and win the game on his own. Lebrons main problem is that he isnt very noticeable at the business end of games. Celtics may trouble the lakers due to their decent defence and the big three. But in the end I think we will have too much size in Pau, Bynum and Odom for the Celtics to deal with.

Well the Orlando game hasn't gone how I thought it would. The Celtics' defence has been immense, whilst Orlando just haven't got it going. Lewis has been played out of the game by KG, whilst Howard is getting dominated in the paint. Howard needs support from Lewis if they're going to get back into this, I don't think they will, though - a Boston sweep looks likely.
Lakers have looked really good against The Suns, everybody is a threat but it will be interesting to see how they fair when they come up against such a good defensive side like the Celtics. I still think the Lakers will win if they keep everybody fit, the Celtics seem to be relying on one of their big players to have a big game in attack every night. If it's not Rondo, then it's Pierce, of it's not Pierce, it's Garnett, but I don't think they're scoring as freely as a team compared to the Lakers, which I feel will be their downfall.

| If the Lakers outside shooters make their open shots then they will win in 5. Kobe can only do so much. Pierce may be shutdown by Artest leaving Kobe to keep an eye on Rondo or Allen.

| The free agency frenzy looks to be getting crazier. Cuban suggesting that hed like to trade for Lebron. John Wall possibly ending up in Washington. The Knicks probably ending up with Carlos Boozer and Joe Johnson.

Bit of a come down for you, if true, eh?
Will be interesting to see how Washington fit Wall and Arenas in together. There've been all sorts of rumours, but I'd be amazed if they didn't go for Wall who seems like an exciting prospect.
Is it possible to watch the college basketball in England? I remember it back on NASN, but I don't think I've seen any of it on ESPN. Admittedly, I haven't followed much basketball for years, but I'm hoping to get back into it.

| There is loads on espn america Rob, including the final four. The Wizards will take Wall and move Arenas to shooting guard. They have quite a good young nucleus, especially in the talented but moody Andre Blatche who averaged around 20 and 11 since the trade deadline. They have room for one max free agent..Bosh? there 5 may look like this?
C-Bosh
PF-Blatche
SF-Thornton
SG-Arenas
PG-Wall

I was watching Fastbreak last night, and they mentioned Bosh listing his preferred '5', not sure if the Wizards were in there.
I know they can move Arenas to SG, but I was wondering if they'd want to fit them in. Arenas has been a massive problem this year for them, with them getting the number 1 pick and most likely picking Wall, some have speculated they may try and trade Arenas, although I'm pretty sure his salary was a stumbling block.
I'm really rusty with regards to player form and value now, I've not watched the NBA regularly for over 5 years, so hearing about all the possible free agents and possible sign and trades, it seems like this summer will be massive, despite the draft not being the most mouth watering in history.
Some fella was trying to say the Lakers might try for Lebron on a possible sign and trade. I didn't think he was being serious as the Lakers seem to have a really good 'team' vibe working, but he seemed to think it was a realistic prospect if the Lakers would offer Bynum and Artest and/or Gasol.
With regards to last night's game: how good is Rondo?! Orlando have been completely outplayed in all areas. I don't think they had enough from everybody, they've put far too much pressure on Howard and some of their other players have gone missing, especially Lewis.
