| Great. Farsley go bust so we lose 6 points so southport will be a point behind with 2 games in hand.
Cheers farsley

| Surely everyone should keep their points and the teams yet to play Farsley get three points for doing absolutely nothing, or was that only done to stitch up Farsley in the [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Premier_League_controversy_2005Spennymoor debacle[/url.
Yes, still bitter.

| Everyone is jealous of us so it stands to reason that whichever scenario suits Southport, is the scenario that the blue square north will take.

| FC somehow managed to lose to Durham yesterday. Not entirely sure how FC didn't score more. Missed a penalty and had a number of very good chances, Durham's keeper had a really good game. Durham's first goal was an absolute belter too, one of the best goals I've seen this season.

Everyone is jealous though. Multi million pound brand new stadium, playing pitch that would put championship teams to shame, shirts and training kit made by nike and not gola, top drawer manager with premiership style back room staff, player wages that players in football league 2 dont earn and probably more than a lot of football league 1 players earn and a fulltime playing squad.
We should be promoted by default

Give it a couple of years and you will probably go the way of Weymouth and Farsley etc. If you were as superior as you state surely you wouldn't of lost 6 games to these poor folk who look at you so enviously? Having read what you have posted I hope Southport win the league and you stay down. Don't want your "league one" calibre team heading to Bootham Crescent next year, though I guess you should be promoted by default again?

The reason we lose these games is simple and this isnt me being arrogant. We play football and have you seen some of the grounds in the blue square north? You cant do anything but hoof the ball because the pitches are shocking. We went to southport and got humped 5-0, purely because on their pitch you cant pass the ball. A week later, they came to our place and we gave them a masterclass in how to play football and annihilated them.
There is no chance of us going the way of farsley and weymouth as we have a multi millionaire at the helm who has already proved hes here for the long term by building us a stadium that is fit for the football league. We've already signed up our best players on full time contracts and are even letting players go of the calibre of Jamie Milligan who would walk into most blue square premier teams because we have football league players comming in next season.
We will be in the football league within 2-3 years guaranteed.

Yes i have seen some of the ground in the BSN. They are similar to the ones in the BSP. Surely a team that has a divine right to be promoted should be able to brush all comers aside on any surface? If your lot struggle on pitches then you ain't gunna storm the BSP like you think

Well I think its been an eye opener this season and im sure we will learn that in order to succeed in the semi pro game, you need to be able to play route 1 football or play like southport where you have no skill but all your players are 16 stone meat heads and just kick you into next week. But we like to play the beautiful game. Just the way it is

| I hope I'm not right, but Fleetwood is a house built on sand.
As for being fit for the Football League?! You've got only got half a stand of seats, an open side, a third of a terrace and admittedly one decent terrace, while your support have shown in previous years that they're nowhere to be seen once a sniff of glory has gone.

Was thinking the same. Just looked at the ground on the Fleetwood website and it looks like a pretty standard non-league set up. Off the top of my head i know that AFC Telford have a better ground in that division alone.
