The Paul Taylor v Antony Njkouani fight is off Saturday's card, gutted, thought that one would be fight of the night for sure!

Your kidding! Why?? Cant believe weve lost another fight...like you i was really looking forward to that one....whos on the main card now then?

Taylor has been involved in a car crash and has whiplash. Apparently it's too late to get a replacement fighter for Njkouani who is already in the country, he must be fuming!



It's been replaced on the main card by Cyrille Diabatte v Antony Persosh which should be a snore fest.



A weak card made ever weaker!

Very disapointing news...i suppose they have no option but to bump the fight from the undercard up to the main card...



Diabette perosh does sound like a typical grappler v striker match which usually is a bore.

You're not telling me there isn't a lightweight in England that could have stepped in for a shot in the UFC against Njkoauni!

Its abit short notice with 3 days to go,with weight cutting, finding someone in peak fitness and of a decent stanard.....the ufc would get hammered by the fans even more if they threw on any old bum......is there no more lightweights on the undercard that could have took that fight instead??

I hate to slag the card off, but Im glad in a way all the cheap tickets sold out fairly quick before I went to buy any as I chose not to go for any of the others and in a way its paid off. A headline fight which would probably be only at most 3rd top slot on one of the Yank cards. No Hathaway, no Taylor, no Bisping, no Hardy. Sorry but it doesnt nothing to get my taste buds going.

I know were your coming from but big names dont always mean its guna be a great card....look at penn diaz...awful event barring the main event....im just looking forward to the ufc experience/atmosphere and hopefully some good scraps! I think leben munoz has the potential to be a good fight,as does the pickett fight....always like watching etim and if its a stand up war then alves is always entertaining.

Really enjoyed my first live UFC experience. Even the weigh ins were massively enjoyable.



I'd say there was only one really boring fight on the card (Omigawa v Young) with John Maguire v Justin Edwards being the fight of the night for me.



Etim's submission is a true highlight reel moment, that will be played out for years to come and the reaction of the crowd was as loud as anything I've heard at other sporting events.



My true highlight of the night though came after the show. Walking back to the hotel we bumped into Chris Leben getting in a van (presumably to the hospital). Fearing the worst, we asked him for a quick picture. He was an amazingly nice bloke, "Yes sure man jump in, dethrone shirt though...really....urgh?" and then talked to us about the fight...all of this with blood still dripping down his face. He is completely mental, but an awesome bloke....

Saw tom 'kong' watson in the foyer sporting an awful union jack shirt..not a good look!!



Yeah it was an excellent night and the best live event iv been to by far....great atmosphere,never heard anything like the noise when terry etim sunk that guillotine in...awsome!



Was really impressed with barao,really enjoyed that fight,defo one for the future, mcguires

grappling skills were very impressive aswell.

By the way what the hell was that kid doing in the octagon just before the leben munoz fight??



I missed it just saw him getting carted out but the missus said he scaled the fence to get in!!

Not suprised after that quick finish but terry etims been matched up for another fight already....ufc 142 v edson barboza..great match up that,two rising stars..should be a good fight.

The Etim v Barboza fight is a great fight! Etim could have some joy against him if he can take it to ground!

i was intending to, as well as sky plussing it, fell asleep during the dana white interview, woke up just has big john was stopping the fight.

The Clay Guida v Ben Henderson fight was well worth staying up for though, superb fight, without a doubt one of the best of the year!

Dont think the american public saw that fight on fox.



It was a great fight and one of the best this year by far...guidas never in a boring fight,one of my favourites.

What a fight Hendon v Shogun was! Seriously could be the greatest fight in the history of MMA!

Great fight - weird as it sounds im happy it was back on PPV and not ESPN, i hated the coverage of the JDS / Cain fight.



How people have Shogun for a W on sherdog is beyond me, he got beat up for 3 rounds and his cardio is still average looking. Great card though - the Wandy v Cung Le fight was equally as good.

I had it as a draw.



10-9 Hendo the first 3 rounds, 10-9 10-8 the last two to Shogun.



A lot of debate as to whether the last round was a legit 10-8 round, but when you take into account Stefan Bonnar got two 10-8 rounds in his fight, doing far less damage, then surely Shogun takes a 10-8 there?!

True but then we open up the can of worms on judges - dont go there!





End of the day I think Shogun had the chance to take Hendo in the 4th and 5th, Hendo just stood there with an inane grin, hands down. You arent going to KO him, but you can take him down and submit him ala Silva. I dont think he had the gas to do it though - which goes back to his cardio.

Hendo rua....wow! What a war that was..didnt think anything would beat Edgar maynard 2 for fight of the year but that was an awsome fight...closest thing to an mma rocky balboa fight you'll see...i think only true mma fans can understand and appreiciate how good that was.



Also wanderlei silva looked impressive...some quality mua thai to finish the fight!

Cung Le was always going to lose though, I've lost count now the number of big names who lost their first fight in the octagon. Its a totally different experience. You've got the likes of Cro Cop, Shogun, Lesnar, etc.

One of the few MMA fights I've watched all the way through (Henderson-Rua). Enjoyed it bothe guys showed great heart. I did spit dr pepper over my keyboard when I read Dana White comparing it to Ali-Frazer III (The Thrilla in Manilla)

I think he said it was mma's version of ali frazier III which for the time mma has been around its probably a fair comparison...i cant think of many mma fights that could top that for an all out war..amazing stuff.
