I think they will struggle to beat Dallas after the royal ass whooping they got t`other day from them but if they can get past them theres no reason why they cant make it back to the SB, Indy however will not make it again IMO but little Peyton will still get his annual MVP

That shows how highly they rate him then. He'll be gone soon enough.

What do you think they'll get for him? Maybe a 3rd?

Since they shifted Braylon Edwards, being Cleveland's best player is hardly a glowing recommendation.
He's effective out of the Wildcat and returning kicks but offers little as a genuine WR. How much should you pay someone like that?

| Quote RedTez="RedTez"If you basing it just on sacks then fne, it's amazing. If you watch the Colts game closely (not saying you haven't) you'll see that Peytons blitz recognition, changes of plays at the line and his quick release is the main reason for that.
Look at the other side of the coin - the rushing attack. 31st in Average rushing yards. This is against teams who will likely play the pass.
'" I don't know how the NFL come up wit hthe ranking but it appears to take rushing into account.
I accept that a quality QB with the ability to make adjustments at the line and wit ha quick release can avoid sacks but he's never hit. Never. I don't watch the Colts that closely. I do watch the Redskins. Put Peyton behind our line and he wouldn't finish the season, let alone win MVP.
i noticed the Colts had low rushing numbers but i also noticed that they run the ball fewer times than most other teams in the league.

They do, but they have the 2nd lowest YPC in the league. This is just my opinion, and I am a bit of a know nowt!! It does seem to me though, that he is under constant pressure when there is a decent pass rush.
How do you feel about the Shanahan apointment? Did I read that his son's coming in as OC? My mates a Redskins fan and had enough of it towards then end of last season. My gloating text about beating them with our 2nd string didn't go down all that well!

Edwards was terrible after the one good season he had. He couldn't catch a cold (i accept having rubbish QB's doesn't help).
Cribbs is excellent on returning kicks, but he is also IIRC the top special teams tackler on the Browns and the gunner on punts. He is a better overall special teams player than Hester when he was playing special teams. He has 400 rushing yards, is an effective wildcat player, a decent 3rd or 4th reciever and actually taken a few pass attempts. His play alone has won them games. Like Hester in his day havng him back there means teams will kick it away from him giving better field position.
By all accounts he is a key guy in the locker room, was promised a new deal before Mangini came in and didn't get it, was promiseed another one when Holmgren signed and this was the offer.
It's a difficult one to say what to pay him, personally i think he's worth $3-5 per year (potentially parity with Hester?? (although i don't know what he's on)) and i'd be looking to get as high as a 2nd round draft pick for him.

At the very least a 2nd round draft pick.

I think he's exactly what we need (and his son) and I think he's a great hire but I've seen too many "saviours" in the last ten years to get too carried away just yet. I am fairly excited about what him and Bruce Allen can do for us.
Anyway, you may have played your 2nd string but don't forget that we were actually playing our 3rd, 4th and even 5th stringers but not by choice.

| I may have asked you this before G1 (i can't remeber), what is your take on Jason Campbell?
Personally i'm a fan of his and think he is very competant and in the right system could do very well.
Rams fans (El Pac, Adam) i read somewhere that Bulger is considering retirement, i think that is more likely to lead to a case for Clausen being drafted.
