| In all probability, yes. Kofi is actually from Ghana, so it kinda makes more sense than having to fake everything. (See Mr Piper for lessons on that)
Got into a nice argument on another forum about it
Guy 1: Kofi isn't Jamaican, he's African
Guy 2: And what continent is Jamaica in?
Guy 1: Erm...
Me: He's from Ghana, which is in Africa. Jamaica is counted as being in North America.
Guy 2: Are you sure on that?
Me: Check an atlas.

| Apparantly JR had another attack of his Bells Palsy on the plane at the weekend. Michael Cole may be at the tapings to assist. (Lawler will be there as Grisham is on his honeymoon)
Tomko is apparantly backstage at impact, and rumour has it Nigel McGuinness is there too as he feels WWE has taken too long to offer him an actual contract so may head to TNA. Danielson may be in this position too.

He also gets a start straight away in TNA rather than needing to go to development with WWE. He could possibly join as part of The British Invasion. If Danielson signs as well that will be fantastic, 2 wrestlers who could be main event level.
Daffney suffered a broken arm going through the barbed wire board at the Bound for Glory PPV.

I swear she must be one of the most courageous female wrestler's of the last 10 years, the stuff she does, e.g. read about the thumbtac bump she also took the other month.

| McGuinness debuted last night and went straight after Angle.
Shame his name's been changing to Desmond Wolf/Wolf Desmond. (What a stupid name.)

| I thought Raw was good this week. Good build for the PPV, a little smattering of possible face turn for Ted DiBiase, nice balance of storylines and wrestling.
My only real problems with the show are the "hillllllllllllarious comedy" moments which have cole and lawler doing that stupid fake laugh, it's worse than if they actually just put can'd laughter over every one of these segments.
The other thing was DX running down Team SD. Way to make me not care about that match. Was kinda funny when they mentioned about guys sleeping their way to the top. But the thing regarding the last 2 guys (must admit i've not seen sd in a while) but the whole "don't know who they are" bit seemed to strike a little too close to home

that's what i meant on the other page, it's a bit weak, cryme tyme is a bit weird but to put two brand new guys on there, unless your planning to have one of them dominate every mofo on team raw(which ain't gonna happen) it seems daft chucking them in at the deep end.
Still though, don't matter no more

FFS why do both feds always do that, Nigel McGuinness is a perfectly good (and marketable) name.

| Cryme Tyme aren't in it now. There was a match on Smackdown like the one on Raw, Tyson Kidd & DH Smith are in the match now.
(Its basically 7 heels vs 4 faces 3 heels now.

They do it so they are able to own the name for marketing and so the wrestler can keep their previous name if they need it again. Because his actual name is Steven Haworth.
Booker T not renewed The word at Sunday's TNA Bound For Glory PPV was that TNA would not be renewing Booker T's contract when it expires in November. There was said to be talk that TNA President Dixie Carter would have a change of heart if Booker said the right things, but every indication right now is that he sealed his fate when he refused to job to Matt Morgan at the last set of iMPACT! TV tapings.
Creative booked the stretcher angle at the PPV to get him out of the match. We're told there was lots of eye rolling backstage over the way he acted as he was being stretchered out. One TNA source even added, "He's been such an asshole that most people were just happy to see him go."
The belief is that WWE has interest in bringing Booker back to the company once he is contractually available.

Ah right, cheers. Still think it's a mistake sometimes though, e.g. changing a perfectly good name like Monty Brown to the stupid Marcus Cor Von.
What do TNA see in Matt Morgan though?! I just don't get it.

Just so much in that match that you wouldn't see in WWE, absolutely amazing match.
Would love to see an Ultimate X match in person.

| They are on sky.
On Bravo currently, also going to be shown on Virgin in the near future.
Ultimate X, King of the Mountain & Lethal Lockdown are 3 of my favourite match types. Lots of insane stuff goes off in them, and the X Division in particular has had some ridiculous stuff go off before.
They also do ECW style hardcore matches, Daffney in the tacks being a great example, and their Womens division is possibly stronger IMO, the tag division definitely is.
