Look at Jack Swagger, he'd have been buried on Raw already, whereas in ECW he's having consistantly good matches whilst tuning his skills.

I just disagree with them calling it 'ECW' though. Having a developmental TV show like this is a great idea and certainly good investment for the future. But, when wrestling historians look back at ECW in 40-50 years time, alongside Raven, Sabu, Jerry Lynn, Terry Funk, Cactus Jack and Steve Austin - you're also gonna have Mark Henry, Snitsky, Big Daddy V, The Boogeyman etc!

I thought that Kelly Kelly looked stunning last night.

I always think her teeth look a bit funny, but to get over that I tend to look at other parts of her body! By the way, I agree, she did look rather lovely last night, loved the fact the match ended with basically a series of cleavege shots.

Kennedy has been released by WWE last night.



He injured his wrist taking an RKO on Monday. Orton had words with Kennedy afterwards about being careful in the ring as Kennedy would end up injuring others.

Surprised at that to be honest (despite his luck with injuries, the Signiture Pharmacy scandal etc). Thought he was destined to be the next big thing a couple of years ago but I guess he kinda struggled to build serious momentum because of the above issues.

No doubt he'll quickly find work at the rival company though.

Was reading in Power Slam a writer's suggestion that TNA strike a deal with Playboy now that WWE has ended their deal. Maybe the Victoria spread might finally happen eh?!

That surprised me when I first read it. I always thought WWE saw him as one of their top guys with them giving him a movie role and him always being the guy who does media interviews (sky sports news and stuff).



Doesn't surprise me when I think about it though, he has been out for what seems like a year and then injures himself in his return match. Didn't he also just come back from a long term injury when he last got injured too?

Hey IIRC The Wrestler is released on DVD tommorow. For anyone who still hasn't seen it I defintely recommend it - best wrestling film I've seen since Beyond the Mat (although technically that might be classed as a documentary rather then film).

Not as recognisable as Regal or the late, great Davey Boy Smith, but a superb technical wrestler and extremely respected by the fans.
