He'll come back either way IMO. They win and he'll try and defend it next year. They don't and he'll try again one last time.

| I think if the Vikings get to the superbowl and lose it will be his last go and he will retire. If they dont get to the superbowl he may have another season. I think he only may have another year at the most left in him after this anyway. Saying that it has been good watching him prove a lot of critics wrong this year though with his level of play.

| I know it's not the thing to do but i've changed my NFL team from Chicago to Kansas City.I'll probably get a bit of stick for doing it but i've been thinking of changing for a long time which has been shown in my lack of posts this season about the Bears. You can see with my choice of KC that i'm not jumping on the bandwagon of a good team.I'll still want the Bears to do well but the Chiefs are my team from now on.

Maybe it's something to do with Chicago because i've also changed my NHL team from the Chicago to Buffalo'"
Out of interest...why have you changed (or why did you support the Bears and now chosen the Chiefs)?

| It's strange as i've been a Bears fan for about 25 years but in the last couple of years i've started not being that bothered when they lose. That transpired into the start of this season where there was some weeks where it would be monday before i looked for their result and some weeks I didn't even watch the sky coverage of the NFL.
A couple of months ago I decided to change my team and even though they've been useless for the most part in the years i've watched the NFL(this season included)the Chiefs have always been a team i've wanted to do well and after a few weeks of going on their website and looking at their messageboards i've started to enjoy watching the NFL again like I used to when I first started watching it.
Like I posted before there are people on here who could never think of picking another team but I was like that for about 20 +years. Now i've got to get used to hating the Raiders instead of the Packers

Hating the Raiders is easy mate! The Broncos too! Funny, KC is always a team I've respected. I think they may be on the cusp of something pretty good. Weis and Crenenel as co-ordinators is pretty formidable!

They've both got something to prove after their last jobs.I'm not expecting too much next season but you never know in the NFL anything can happen as the bengals have shown.

They can battle it out for 2nd in the West with the Donkeys and Raiders!
Rumours that Baltimore are sniffing around Malcolm Floyd of SD, he's a RFA. Could see some draft picks coming to the Chargers if what I've read is true. Would be interesting.

I'm like that. Although i have no connectin to GB and probably started to suppport them for fairly trivial reasons, i could never change my team, and wouldn't want to.
IF for whatever reason i did though, it would be to Jacksonville. I've been to the stadium and seen them play (against GB in pre-season), i like the players and also really love the new kit they have. I support them whenever they play so long as the effect doesn't hinder GB.
Also, i don't hate any of our division. Vikes have Favre so i could never totally hate them. Detriot and Chicago i just pity! I do however hate New England (1a), Dallas (1b).

| I've supprted the Redskins since 1982 and could never change my alleigencies. I feel as passionatley about them as I do Leeds RLFC.
I despire our division rivals especially hte Cowgirls. You HAVE to hate the Cowgirls to support the Redskins. There's no option.

| If I had to pick a second team, it would probably be the Ravens.
Having read Next Man Up I just admire the whole ethos of the organisation, and anyone that can be successful with Trent Dilfer under deserves support.

| I'm a Chargers fan, basically because SD is my US City. When I was in school a football team came over and one of the players stayed at our house. They were from San Diego. I made the return trip in the summer and stayed with his family. I've been back a few times since and love the place. The lad is getting married in September this year.....I can see a trip to the Q coming!
The other teams I like are the Ravens (alot of it is due to next man up), the Browns and the Skins.

| Quote ST_CONROY="ST_CONROY"I can handle defeat, and i'm over the moon with the effort shown to get back in the game, but that was some of the worst officiating i've seen.
It got lost in the excitment of it all with it back and forth but the calls went against us especially in OT. Flagrant helmet to helmet (not called), clear as day facemask to end the game which is a 15 yard penalty and retention of the ball (not called), two questionable OPI calls not made on Fitzgerald (not called) at the same time one resulted in a phantom roughing the passer call on Warner where Jenkins was blocked into him.
They give that as roughing the passer but headbutting Rodgers with the crown of your helmet is fine.
Would we have won anyway...who knows. Especially the two by Fitz. If they were called they probably score anyway. The final facemask and helmet to helmet are unforgivable though.
I hope the Cardinals get murdered by New Orleans and the referee should be given a ban.'"
Bitter sir? What a game, Rodgers and Warner in a good old fashioned shootout. Unfortunately QB's are paid alot of money to take your team down te field with the game on the line to win it...not lose it. Rodgers lost you the game whatever spin you want to put on it. I think it will make him stronger but he still lacks that clutch quality that Peyton, Eli, Ben, Brady and Rivers has. It may come in time, until then he is a very good QB..(not elite). Also instead of moaning about pass intereference calls and facemasks, you should be picking up on the wide open pass he missed to Jennings as well. Number 2 defence? Sometimes schedules dictate such things.

| My brother supported the bears and he kinda got me into it. Mostly based around the original Madden game. You could get full kits in the old catalogues around 1990, plastic helmet etc. One was the bears and the other the Giants. We could never afford them though. It led to me liking all the New York franchises Giants, Yankees, Knicks and the Rangers(although not much interest in NHL). I had the Scott Norwood superbowl on VHS for ages, it's crazy when you look at the staff for that superbowl.

Not bitter. Just annoyed. I wondered how long before you chirped up!
Rodgers didn't lose us the game our appaling defence did. They scored on all but 2 (i think) possessions and that is not good enough for any defence let alone the number 2 defence with a supposed wondeful D co-ordinator. I prefer to say that Rodgers managed to bring us back from 21 points and was a pass away from securing the best comeback in post season history with a defence that couldn't stop anything. Something i doubt your precious Eli could do...because Eli is not elite whereas Rodgers is. Or your saying being dragged by your facemask and fumble means he isn't "clutch".
That pass to Jennings was close (he said he though Jennings was going to cut to the side-line quicker than go straight), that connects and it's game over.
As for the facemask and PI. As i've said, it may have been PI (i wasn't sure but after watching again the second definately is), but with our defence they would have scored anyway so they don't really matter. The Helmet to Helmet again is flagged if it is Brady or Peyton. The facemask is undeniable, it was a facemask and that is our ball and 15 yards. You can't get possession unless you have "clean hands" so that should not have been a TD. I'm sure even you can't deny that.
Would we have won...who knows. Did we deserve to win...our defence was terrible but with the youngest team we should how good we are on offence to come abck.
