Got told to lump on Ransom Note last time after it's win at Royal Ascot as they think this is a group horse. Not sure if there is any excuse for it's run last time but at tomorrow's odds I'm prepared to forget that run.



Brings course winning form to the table aswell as solid looking form, would prefer Ryan Moore rather than Michael Hills but so be it.



A couple of Johnston's could be anything and am wary of that but will be having a decent e/w....

Got a free £40 bet on the opening race at Goodward today. Torn between two of the Johnston runners in Capponi and Solicitor. Stick with one of these or look at something else?

Would go with Capponi of the two - looked a real class horse at York and the clock suggested he was the proverbial group horse in a handicap.

As mentioned earlier Starfish Bay and Astrophysical Jet were my selections for the 5f sprint but the price of the latter is a joke whilst I was expecting nearly 9/1 for Todd Pletcher's blisteringly fast US mare.



Tropical Treat ew @ 11/1 rates the bet in that race whilst despite his very poor run last time out I wouldn't totally toss Freeforaday in teh 17:10.
