Double oh dear Fabianski. Really think his errors will cost Arsenal qualification in this tie.

Arsenal really, really, really need a striker or two. They have the ball in the final third so much, but never seem to have someone to take over and shoot. It fustrated me watching them tonight, can't imagine what it was like for the Gooner fans.

They don't need a striker for that. They just need to get it in everyone's head that when they've created an opportunity to shoot, they do actually shoot. Right now instead of shooting when they've created a chance they try and thread another pair of passes to create an even better chance.

Well I'm just glad Arsenal have never scored a goal from a quickly taken free kick. That's something Thierry Henry would never have done, eh Arsene?

It's a good job it wasn't Moureen or Chelsea there tonight, otherwise another ref might have been forced to resign over numerous death threats.



That said, can't believe that clown is going to the World Cup.

Shocking mistake. Been the best goalkeeper in the Prem this season IMO. Could come off his line more often but he has been excellent.



As for Vieira, he made a stupid challenge. TBH I think a lot of City fans will be happy to see him banned. Not sure myself. I think he has done ok from the bench. If he is banned and De Jong gets injured then we may have to play attacking football for a change. That would be nice

You missed the [is[/i after mistake. Just because the referee took pity on him and disallowed the goal, it doesn't mean he wasn't massively at fault. The Stoke player did nothing wrong whatsoever. Given and the ref should be massively embarrassed over that incident.

Good job it wasn't Man United there, or there'd have been a few Porto players with sore heads from all the coins thrown at players' heads.

Just remembered this, but did the ITV commentator really go overboard on the impact Theo Walcott would have when he came on?



I'm not sure he did as I was only half-listening. Then I thought he couldn't be bigging up Walcott because he's dreadful.



And after he came on Walcott looked like a Championship player who had got lost and found himself in the CL. Which is pretty much what he is.
