one thing i can about Mcshane is that he was always on Agars target as a player. He has had links with agar on many occasions (i was told that agar had wanted to sign him previously at hull before he finally got him at wakefield) this information came from Mcshanes Uncle who i used to work with.



maybe Paul is fed up that all of the AGar team has now gone?



either way, he has been one of the players who has been performing. not one to let go.

As has been previously stated, where does it say he wants to leave or has asked to?

Player of year (so far) for me this year. Best hooker we have had for some time.

I think the lads a grafter is he realy the best hooker we have had for some time. I'm not sure he fits that bill but I would like him about for any new coach. For me I would like to see him take on the line more and speed up at play the ball.

Who was better? His passing, apart from a few forward passes are better than most hookers we've had. Tackles as hard as any but Aston, has a kicking game that none of the others had and is pretty quick off the mark too.

Smart all round player.

McShane's "kicking" game is atrocious, and a high percentage of his passes are forward. So I wouldn't be upset if he left, and to call him the best 9 we have ever had is ridiculous. Obst, Ellis, Rinaldi, Aiton imo are higher up the list than McShane.
