Trin vs Halifax down at belle vue. 2001 or 2002. I'm only 21 so I'd consider that an early start

1st April 1983 at Belle Vue, Wakefield Trinity 36 Huddersfield 11.

I was too young to know when my first game was. Maybe I'll ask my dad and brother.

But my first recollection is playing Leeds at Belle Vue sometime in the early 70s as I'd heard of Leeds United and so it stuck in my mind.

I was at Wembley in 73 or 74 so it must have been before then.

Too young to remember my first game, know it was in 1962. My first season as a junior season ticket holder.

2nd Round RL Cup 1971 I think it was, or 72. Wakefield 5-3 Wigan in a packed Belle Vue. I thought it was always packed houses and big wins over big teams...oh how I would learn

My Dad and my Uncle took me to the 3rd Round at Leeds. Toppos scored a trademark side step show and go and stormed under the sticks but it wasn't to be and we lost 11-5 I think. I was about 8 or 9. The atmosphere at Headingley that day was electric. Utterly hooked. Wakefield till I die!

Wigan at home think about 59 ,remember Billy Boston stoping because he received a forward pass , the ref said play on Boston ran and scored and seemed embarrassed .The players were hard but played the game more fairly then
