Lets not forget Denise Jeffrey was the one sticking her neck out saying the club was being disingenuous about the Newmarket situation, when there was talks of legal action (almost 2 years ago) - we all know what was promised by the developer. Not to mention photos shaking hands with the developer down at Newcold, prior to the latest planning app that they pushed through with a re-vote. No loyalties to the people, just bothered about where the money's coming from - same as Box.

It said on the BBC News page last night that Welcome To Yorkshire had a spend now, worry later culture.
Mmm, wonder if bringing in Peter Box will buck that trend.

Well, Well, at least all the the cycle races will start in Cas & Finish in Cas, or, run/pass through Cas leaving out Wakey !

No matter how much you criticise Box, he's got skin as thick as a rhino and he will not change one iota. The man whos's supposedly diametrically opposite to Thatcher politically is also the one that is most like her in his respect for those he serves
The man's an utter disgrace. Let's just leave it at that!!!!

| Just had a bit of a browse of "Welcome To Yorkshire" accounts. Seems the senior director which I assume to be chair, received a years salary or payments of £240,000 plus and pension benefits! Why would anyone leave a juicy councillors income for a meagre salary like that???
