Second Belle Vue's post above. Ellis has mentioned the West Terrace a few times, but has he actually said whether they're going ahead with it? Surely someone asked him straight last night.
I know there’s another thread for this but the forum is shocking to use.. there are some great contributors to this forum and I really enjoy reading what fans think but it’s never going to attract new members while it like this.
He said that they have planning permission for the West and they have looked at lots of alternatives but their are all quite high cost with no improvement to attendance.
So he thinks he'll limit the changes to taking the cabins away and putting a roof on it.
But the changes that will affect the attendance in the north stand. That is considerably more money and he will look to do that if we start pushing the capacity in about half the games next year. He reckons he can make it 4.5k in the north.
was there any mention of a start date tor the western terrace?
Got the impression that there will be no more work done on the ground till we are hitting the 9,000 mark regularly, apart from finishing of the new shop .
