I called it last week. We'll be looking at the Leigh result all season. Although there's nothing to suggest it'll be Leigh we're in competition with to avoid the bottom spot.

Tbf its the quality of players he has more than anything...........especially at the minute playing without Jowitt, Lyne, Tanginoa and now Murphy/. There is no creativity, flair ...we are in big trouble!

I don't think they were ordinary. I think we defended them out.

Attack needs some work but going from a 60-0 to a game in the balance where the likely top 4 team struggled to score is a good step on for me.



Let's build on that.



Kay was outstanding in his new role.

He's not a kid, he's an adult who has spent most of his 20 years as an adult involved with rugby league in one for or another. If he didn't think he was good enough, or didn't think the squad would be, he should never have accepted the job.

As dire as we sounded with ball in hand, I’m still not laying the blame at Applegarths door just yet.



Did he give both Lino and Gaskell 3 year deals, no.



Shame we were so poor with ball in hand, we muscled up well in defence.



Not many games are lost by only conceding one try, but then again, not many sides fail to score a try in about three hours of play. We have done both.



Get the attacking part right, and we might get somewhere.

Can’t argue with any of that. The squad looks criminally unbalanced to me and short of numbers in key areas.

Cant fault the effort tonight but lets be honest hudds were dire,we have failed to score again thats 3 games in 4 with the hull friendly.feel very deflated tonight really do think thats our time in sl done hope im wrong but we cant and dont look like scoring

The results are what you'd expect with a squad of this quality.

Kay is a much better option than Gaskell there thats for sure and it sure is a step forward after last week. But Huddersfield were definitely clunky with the ball which helped. But to say the attack needs some work is the understatement of the year, it was as poor as i’ve seen from us for quite a while.

This aged well genius.

We might have defended them out of the game but by the same token they were there for the taking.

Our attack is woeful and I just don’t see a playmaker in the team.

I think we’re in trouble.

Didn’t make the game due to family illness so can’t comment on the game. I’m really happy keeping them to 8 but obviously 2 games now with no points it’s pretty abysmal.
