He’s very well thought of at Wire, he’s been playing injured for a long time now though so bringing in Yates may give him a bit of breathing space to recover/manage the injury prior to the playoffs. |

The problem with looking overseas for a decent half is that there are very few unavailable and those that are will be requiring inflated salaries to come.
Whilst the top tier halves in the NRL are still brilliant players there isn’t much behind them, hence seeing the likes of Dodd being recruited by Souths and players like Sezer still getting game time.
If the Trueman links are correct I’d be more than happy, he’s a quality half with a running game.
I still think we will be working on a deal to unload Lino I just don’t see him as good use of a quota spot and he’s had his opportunities in SL and not shown up consistently enough to warrant a place in the 17 in 2025 in my opinion. |

If Trueman link is correct better than what we got and younger? Thoughts on Lino going 9 and offloading Hood who was way past is best last year in S L .Got my tin hat on |
