Yes I have always rated Broadbent ,thought he was good at Leeds. He is a versatile player, pity we never signed him.

Good signing for Cas, so is that Miller/Austin in the halves or Widdop/Austin.

He's a good player but was gash against us the other week

I’m still of the opinion though it’s quality in the pack they needed to recruit.



I don’t though bank on Leeds doing us any favours in the last game of the season and fancy Cas to take that game now with a fired up Austin out to prove a point.



I’ve not been bothered about them bringing in the other lads but this certainly is a boost for them.

Think austin for cas is a major game changer and when/if they bring powell in think it does for us.got to give cas credit got rid of deadwood and improved there squad with lads who will come in and bust a gut

Very strange we have let Austin go especially with Myler likely out for the season.

Talk is that Austin been slagging off Hetherington and the club which is not a clever thing to do.

Supporters can do it but not a good idea for employees to do the same.

Maybe we didn`t offer him what he wanted contract wise and he`s spit his dummy out similar to Leeming.

I'm not sure it 'does for us'. We've already beaten an Austin led team.

They now have a lot of pivots and both halves are runners but the rest are still pretty weak.

He will make cas a much stronger team and if they get beat tomorrow last will go and powell will come in again making cas a much stronger team,there first game would be v us at belle vue and when did we last beat cas at belle vue.i hope im wrong but austin going to them makes them along with there other recurits make them so much stronger which as the relagation is between us and them isnt good news for us

I don't disagree that it makes them stronger. I just don't agree that it makes them so much stronger that we are done for.

Sounds like Austin was a bit too honest in a recent podcast and has had a telling off from Uncle Gary.

I'd have sent him to a Championship club!
