I personally don’t think we will start with many if any DR players. Where they will be worth their weight in gold is at the back end of the season when injuries hit, or a freshen up is needed. Might be wrong.

It can be a bit of a double edged sword at the business end. Wigan and their reserves may be in playoffs and players available may be limited at the time we could need them most.



That said it could be valuable if we have an injury crisis and if the relationship is strong enough we could see good enforcement at the right time of the season.



We probably won’t start with dual reg and it’s important we don’t rely on them exclusively. I guess we need to be patient till the squads completed to see where any gaps or lack of depth arise.

It will be interesting to see if we run a reserve team. If not then DR basically replaces that, combined with other loan players and our under 19's.

I do hope it’s true though. He can play SR and cover prop so I hope he stays as he will be excellent in the championship. Griffin and Tanginoa with Boothroyd to interchange would be a big and powerful edge forward prospect.



Let’s hope he’s settled at trinity and buys in for 2024.

To be fair previous seasons his record has been very good with 20+ appearances every season. I’m sure he’ll be over his injuries now.

it did have a year left on it, but after relegation it became void / he had an opt out clause like most players did

I would imagine any announcement would coincide with a season ticket release or some other event, if he has agreed to stay that it.
