The other players are very much worthy of recognition, but none of them are in the guiness book of world records.
I'd happily give another area like the North Stand over to the David Topliss stand.
But I imagine a vote would be unanimously Neil's name.
But that's why others need to be recognised elsewhere. The flats have some great pictures in there, it's just time to carry it over to the new Stand.
What I'd like to see though is pictures with words to explain why they are important.

Obvious name is Neil Fox and I wouldn't have an issue with that, but as others have said there have been many players who have made a great contribution to the club. Something more inclusive is a great idea.

Agreed, the main stand should named after Neil Fox. Nobody has done what he has in the game and nobody ever will.
But there is certainly scope for honouring other legends of our club around the ground. The Derek Turner North Stand, The Harold Poynton Suite, etc. A great way to embark on a bright future by acknowledging those that got us here. |
