I'm guessing Russell (if he comes will be here for the Cas game), can't see Hudds loaning him before the semi.
Solid signing, gives Charles a rest and give Smith a potential run of games at hooker.
Improves our kicking options for sure, think we need better loan term, but short term it's a smart signing, with no real downsides (unless he is brilliant and we can't sign him permanently).

I'm not getting all this excitement and the love in over Russell.
He's nowhere near being a regular for Huddersfield because he's only deemed as a squad player, yet some on here are wetting themselves over it.
Yes it gives us depth but it's not an inspirational loan signing. I'd rather go with Trueman and Charles and keep Smith as a support player. |

Have to say i side with John/Leigh on this one, to not even advise the player that it was getting announced is very poor form from us, we wouldn't like it if it was the other way round.
