| Quote PAUL M="PAUL M"I went to the Leeds game and although Hall played less minutes he looked a far better option at FB. He made 3/4 clean breaks and took some dangerous high balls.
Byrne was solid too but never looked like beating a man or breaking a tackle.
Byrne might be safer option. kinda says a lot about our side really.'"
Byrne brings a lot more to the side than safety, such as his support play. At the end of the day i have no preference between them and each have positives and negatives. Would put my house on Agar going with Byrne though.

As i said, ive been saying most of last season that i'd rather play Hall or Briscoe in the centre than G Horne as i think he isnt good enough in attack to play there, however he has earnt his chance and made it impossible to be dropped, fair play to him.

Horne played very well, I have no issue with him starting at centre, right now he deserves the spot.

Byrne is the safe call, Hall would add much more to the side from an attacking pov.
Happy with either but I just don't want to see Hall underused, he is the future of our club whereas Bynre isn't.

Agreed, which opens up the debate again of whether its best to go with experience or someone for the future that isnt ready yet?

Don't agree that Hall isn't ready yet. He is imo a much better proposition at centre than G Horne (though i do like Horne) and his broken field running and kick returns from full-back make him far more dangerous than Byrne. To leave him out of the side altogether would be a real cop out by the coach who's mindset is cleary about not losing rather than trying to win.

| If Craig Hall doesn't start today I think its a sign of how things are going to go tactically this season. Also, if Hall doesn't play I will really feel for Calderwood. Starting outside G.Horne or Byrne will just mean him giving the same performances as he did at Wigan which is not what we want

| I saw Motu earlier today, his left leg was strapped up and he was limping badly. I was hoping he would be fit for next week but looks like he may be out for a while.

Weres the go forward in the forwards with the starting team? IMO one of King, Thacks and Manu [umust[/u be on the pitch at all times. I feel we may get overauled if this doesn't happen.....
