I think most who were at Wakey that day would say Shaul's try but to me in Tickle that day we had a real leader on the pitch. He influenced that game massively, something our senior players have been lacking if we're being honest.



Also, within this period we have unearthed a real star on the rugby league public at large haven't we. We haven't seen the like of Ben Crooks in our centres for a long time and he alone has been a huge plus in this purple patch. His first half try at Salford was very very 'unscorable', he made it look easy. We only won by 6 don't forget so you can thank him there. Centres of his quality at the top of his game are always going to influence games.

Not sure what the mickey taking is for here. There've been a few odd results that you wouldn't expect (Saints/Widnes, Cas/Leeds, Rovers/Wire. Rovers/Saints, Salford/Hudds) so its a fair point being made.

There are odd results every season (Widnes beating Wigan last season for example) but who in their right mind will immediately think we are where we are in the table because the better teams have been beaten by the bottom teams. So we are lucky!



Pessimist or what?

It's what happens in league competitions. You could argue that Widnes/Hull or Hull R****s didn't help us but did help everyone above us. It's the same flawed mentality as "we won but the opposition were cr@p".
