Also I would look at Gary Wheeler from Saints, his main position is halfback but can also play centre and wing.

I would start him at Hull and see how he goes, with Tansey a bit dodgy on and off the pitch and our halfback situation, he might even get a few games for Hull eraly season, if he isn't then look at loaning him back to Fev or another NL club.

Leon Pryce and Lee Briers are always rumoured to be available.

They are both very good players with lots of potential and are certainly worth bringing in.



To loan them back to Fev would make sense but as you know with our injury 'luck' they will probably get plenty of first team opportunities!

If Pryce is up for grabs I would definately have a look and is he isn't and Saints are looking to offload one of their younger players then Wheeler would be perfect to cover the halves, think they would be more inclined to let Pryce leave though.

Regarding the NRL betting investigation, there has been an official denial of any bans having been decided. The police investigation is ongoing and nothing will be done without the results from that investigation being issued to the NRL. As such can we keep any names of players off the boards please. Just in case.

ALthough Pryce is a decent player it is one i would steer clear of signing, this season he has had a torrid time with injuries and we really don't have much luck with injuries as it is.

i quoted this a few weeks ago,after a friend of mine who knows leon well,said he wants to negotiate a release from the final year of his contract with saints.he still lives in bradford and they would be his ideal scenario,but he would be open to other offers.

Wheeler is no better for covering at 7 then what we have, Hardaker looks the real deal for me although outside backs are not a priority we should snap him up before someone else does, Briggs looks a talent but not really what we need, we need a playmaker, out of the two I'd prefer Moore to be honest.

Does Hardaker not play fullback aswell though??

I wouldnt be against signing both Briggs and Moore for next year they can both be sent out on dual reg to the Championship but it would be interesting to see how they develop training full time with the likes of Long, Fitz, etc.



Chances are at least one of them would end up playing first team when the inevitable injuries kick in and I would rather see a natural half step in then a hooker or loose forward as happened this year!

Yeah, although I might be a minority but I think Tansey is doing ok at fullback, and we have Whiting and Jack Briscoe to cover, I don't think we need a fullback but as I say the likes of Wire, Leeds and Wigan will be in for him soon so would sign him straight away if we have the chance.

Agree entirely. I am in the small Tansey fan club as well, but if Zac carries on the way he is going then he wouldn't be a bad signing at all.
