Can we appeal?

Not so sure about the making an example thing , but I would imagine a lot of players have been let off for doing more serious offences.

Tickle is to appeal.

The trouble with appealling is that Wednesday nights match will not be part of any ban now as its usually a next week before an appeal can be heard.



I am all for foul play being punished, they should be punished but for the life of me there is no consistency in the verdicts.



I have seen some bad incidents on the tv this season and all passed over by the RFL muppets, even on Sunday a Cas player ( Sargeant) took out the Wigan kicker and it was let off.

Kick us while we are down why dont you just wish it was fair - Depends what colours you play in!!!

I saw the second incident clearly and there was no intent at all. A 2 game ban is a massive overreaction.

But as Ian said If the RFL uphold it then he will miss 2 SL games as I cant see the 9's then counting.

Could end up leaving him with egg on his face.

After a little chat with a freind at the RFL I suspect that it was going to be one match................................



until someone realised about the 9s match and that would count

so they upped it to 2 matches.





They are maybe rushing the appeal, but how does this work with the nines tourney now ?

There a disgrace, Cunningham gets away with murder every year,Moore with an elbow 2 weeks gets nothing,sargeant should have walked v wigan laughing stock

Even stranger is that Tansey or Tickle arent in the squad named on Hulls website

Why? Reserve games used to count if there was no 1st team game.

And that's a massive understatement.



I'm all for punishing foul play but there needs to be some consistency shown by the RFL across all teams.

Agreed, there is no consistency in this area from the referees each game to the disciplinary panel. Still seems a lottery when appearing at Red Hall as well as what some players and teams have appeared there for.



Its seems its not what you do but who you are and play for that is the key

Thats exactly right. It seems to be a complete lottery regards who gets a ban nowadays. Surely the grading system should give a clear indication of what punishment will follow? Depending on previous convictions also maybe.



I made a flippant comment that both would get a ban to show how strong the RFL are on clampingdown knowing Hull had little left to play for. I will also say that if the players had been playing for the giants or wolves they would not have got the same punishment....this week at least!

Seems harsh given our good disciplinary record this season but we shouldn't be surprised.



I find it quite ironic that other teams have beat us up all season but as soon as we stand up for ourselves and show some aggression two players get banned and two others get warning letters.



The whole on report system is a joke anyway; it just gives the referees to an excuse to avoid making a decision on the incident at the time.

Surprised with the bans considering Tadulala only got a fine with intentionally dragging big Eorl by the hair, which in my opinion is far more premeditated than these two cases.

I find it amazing that they get two matches and even more amazed tha a nines tournament counts.
