With the backrow situation, im intrigued to see how Armstrong, Staveley and Jebson progress all seem to be highly rated, it wouldnt suprise me if Staveley is earmarked for a spot next season.



Out of curiosity how big physically are Jebson and Armstrong?

I could see Staverley at 13, reminds me of Smith at Leeds.

Would anyone take Mcgilvary for a year, 35, but experienced, good finisher and still makes loads of metres, probably better than Mcintosh, we have alot of young wingers it would give them another year to be ready.

I was thinking this yesterday, I probably would for a year, would rather have the Senior twin on loan at Wakey though.

we dont need sailor,with hoy and walker we have enough fbs,we need an experienced 7.if we go into next season with no scrum half we are asking for trouble.

On a pay as you play contract would be ideal, good finisher, provides experience...I suggested this a couple of hundred pages ago in this thread and got shot down for it...how our expectations have lowered as the season has gone on!

There’s a lot of Cassandra’s on here of late. Maybe we have to cut our cloth to suit but let’s wait until we see who we get. A lot of people’s despondency is presenting as anger, very understandable but not very illuminating.



The coaching is and will keep improving, I hope, but one of the things I’d like to see change is to stop giving out three four year contracts that seem to get handed out willy nilly. Also if it were down to me everyone would be on a basic wage and get bonuses paid on performance and wins. Like I used to get when I was a plumber. It ain’t going to happen but I sure do hope our poor attitude does change sooner rather than later.

Not a bad shout and hes one of the most experienced players in the league. Seem to recall he wont leave Huddersfield though, he had NRL offers after the 2017 WC and wasnt interested at all, so would have to travel to Hull.

Has anyone seen Sailor play? If hes half as good as his dad was then that would be good
