We've got more important areas in the playing squad that need addressing IMO.

I agree, Centre/Wing and no7 are much bigger priorities.

I'm really starting to lose patience with Hall, I always thought he would get better with his defence but he's still struggling and he's never going to be a top centre without defence. So the backs definately need addressing, 2 wingers in, and maybe move Tom Briscoe to centre. Owen and Sharp in on the wings please.



After seeing our 3 plodders in action on Saturday, we need 2 good aggressive props in. Cusack and one of Radford or Dowes out, probably Radford seen as he's the older of the two. McCarthy Scarsbrook is a must in my opinion, and maybe Cooper or Wood from Warrington.



Equally important is a scrum half. Our territory kicking is non existant, even with Long, so that needs sorting out, Matty Smith would be a good addition, good organiser too.



All these areas are more important than signing another utility player like Westerman, we already have Washbrook, Whiting and Turner who cover the same positions.

Westerman is overrated imo and we have enough backrowers. Only point in signing would be if Washy and Tickle left.

I really hope so, one of the worst defenders I’ve ever seen at the club and error count is very high. Shown no sign of improvement since he went into first team.

Glad to see someone is on my wavelength. Agree with most points of your post. Would rather have Westerman than Washbrook though. Another player who hasn't improved in a very long time.

Maybe the question that needs answering/addressing is why are our young talented players not progressing after they make the 1st team?

I like Westerman,he reminds me a lot of Paul Sculthorpe,with the same applicatioin i think he could be as good. If his attitude isn't right i'd stay well clear.
