Why bring in a youngster in his natural position when you can move 1/2 the team around.



To be fair to agar this is tanseys fault not his. With tansey playing I would have been quite confident but with all the moves we'll make as a result I can't see beyond a rovers win

While the immediate root cause is Tansey leaving I'm not confident of Agar making the best of what he's got available. My biggest reservations about him are actually more to do with things like selection and basic skills rather than tactics or playing style.



Oh well - guess we'll see soon enough.

You mean you've noticed that our seasoned professionals can't actually pass the ball properly?

Or support the ball carrier. Or make dummy runs. Or run good angles most of the time. That's why our 'playing style' is way down my list of concerns - I'd be happy if we played any style consistently and well.



Who knows - maybe we've addressed these glaring deficiencies during the closed season and I'm worrying about nothing.

You should be on the stage

With all the talk of Briscoe in the centres again (despite being an England winger) can I just ask once and for all (as I genuinly cant remember) did he actually play centre in the academy or wing?

I remember him playing in a friendly at Dewsbury, he played centre and scored a couple of tries if my memory serves me right

in sharp, briscoe, yeamen, lynne we have a set of great potential players with youth and speed very exciting for the future, personally id of gone with manu at centre but im fully confident in that backline and hopefully they might actually see the ball in attacking posistions and if lynne has a good solid game i can see him been on the wing for a good set of games at leaste untill phelps gets here anyway
