| Not getting the apparent certainty of Briscoe at centre. He's not played there in SL for us to judge adequately IMO, and I've personally seen very little evidence that he's any more capable than Yeaman at putting others in. I think Hall deserves a proper crack at it before Briscoe TBF.
I'd like to see us bring in a winger (2 if Calderwood goes) and agree with others about Owen, really rate him.

| Completely agree with your post Carl. I find it quite funny when people say Briscoe is a centre, when no one has really seen him play there. I've never seen him pass the ball back inside. I remember when he scored the try last season against Bulls at home when him and Sheriffe both fell over. He got back up and instead of passing the ball back to whoever he risked it and went himself. panicked about the pass imo.

I think a few times he's gone himself when it would have made more certain to pass, but he's got away with it with his strength. There's an argument that he backs himself and does well, I just personally feel more secure at the prospect of a walk-in than trying to bulldoze through a tackler.
As for Hall, I think he looks far more at home on the left side of the pitch, and have been saying it for months. I'd be interested to see him switched with Yeaman and see if it worked.

Been saying this for a while also. Don't think Yeamans game would suffer and Halls ability playing off Manu would be good to at least try.

| Agree again.
Teams attack more often on their left side just like Leeds did with Senior or Hall apparently ripping it up. We do the same aswell. So with Yeamo been the better defender why not switch him to the right to play against teams better left sided attacks. Then have our better attacker, Craig Hall play on our stronger side of attack. The left, makes sense.

Exactly. With Manu's strength and offloading, Hall's handling/finishing and Briscoe's finishing too, I could see it potentially having a similar dynamic to the Solomona/Domic/Tadulala trio at Wakey a few years back.
