| Quote Kosh="Kosh"Honestly I'm beginning to suspect that there will be peeved fans regardless of who we sign.'"
Think you may well be onto something there Kosh. If we signed the full Australian test team there would still be some underwhelmed people. PG knows what areas he sees as a priority for top class and with only so much available on a cap and quota spaces then its a tough job especially when we as a club are in need of so many at once.
We seem to be going with younger home based players that have a desire to play for us and can be moulded into a top side rather than the old stagers just coming for a pay cheque.
If we do indeed get Chase & Holdsworth that will be exceptional recruitment let alone without the addition of Ellis. Maybe PG has decided the way we will play next season we do not need so much emphasis on battering ram style props as long as we have some decent size & pace in there?
Until all the signings are announced we can't bitch and moan although some always will that's life

| Is Amor better than Moa or O'Meley who he'd be replacing, is Johnson too? And dont give me all this bol lux about you cant have a team full of superstars as i know you cant but you need high quality winners in as many areas of the field as possible, not one at scrum half, one in the back row and one on the wing then expect us to be real candidates for SL and signing Amor when we originally went for Paea is poor imo. Id rather have Mason from Hudds or even Lovegrove from Rovers than frigging Amor

| Quote BIGARR="BIGARR"I'm very happy with AP, PG and SMc and I'm sure they will do a great job for us, however going for Lopini and possibly ending up with Amor is underwhelming. And for the posters saying we can't have a team of Superstars is a load of rubbish, in my eyes all the top teams have a lot more superstars and until we match them we will be behind them. Also we have a lot of good players leaving and AP said said they will be replaced by better, let's hope it comes off or there WILL be a lot of peeved off fans.'"
Was Ben Westwood a superstar when he left Wakey?
Was Zak Hardaker a superstar when he went to Leeds?
Point is these players become better when in a better environment, so i've no problem with us signing "journeymen" and letting Gentle work with them. Watts was a very naughty boy from Cas at one point and is now looking great. Aspinwall had looked average and people are now saying give him a new contract.
The salary cap and the quota says we can't have a team of superstars, otherwise it would be open season with Wire getting the superstars based on their backer and the rest of us picking up what was left.
As I said before I'd rather have a team of players who want to play for FC and are enthusiatic, decent players, than be tripping over egos when I arrive at the KC as we slip to another defeat before they all head out on the lash thinking they're bigger than the club.

| Think Mr Pearson mentioning that they will spend to get a players in to win trophies has handed more power to the clubs who have players under contracts. Not a really good move IMOA.

Amor is regarded as one of the up and coming talents and his work rate is as good as anyones

your not wrong some are bitching about players we have NOT signed yet FFS (same one incidentally whom said PG had lost the plot when he brought goldie in and our hardest working forward)
if we had a SOO front row coming some would complain

Mason is finished, doesnt always get picked for Hudds. Amor has been better than both this year. That will remain the same if we sign him or not.

| Many would do well to learn the lessons of Watts, McGoldrick, Martin,Aspinwall who all came here being slated by all unsundrie till PG got them under his wing and all massively improved their own game and our performances
Aspinwall especially typifies the fact that in AP,PG and bomber we have a group of fellas who are the danglies as a group of professionals so lets leave it to them to say who does and who does not fit in because so far they are leading the game
management and REAL coaches 4 vs 0 forum coaches

Here's a thought. Maybe even if Mr Pearson hadn't said in the media that he was prepared to pay transfer fees it would have quickly become known inside the game amongst the other clubs that he was paying transfer fees anyway. What do you reckon ?
