I imagine you are right, but, hopefully on the back of vast improvement, both league wise and financially, we can attract the same calibre of player, as Brown, who is a very talented spine player and may even be kept at 7 when Truman is back, he may have to move to off half or wait for his chance , because Brown is a good half who has the added bonus of a good kicking game, can kick goals too, so if Hoy is good at halfback, then we have some good depth in all our spine. I think Brown is a lot better than some people think, possibly better than Clifford, too.

The club dont say when theirs an option for a further year alot of the time, Was it Jack Brown everyone thought was leaving then all.of a sudden the secret 1 year extension appeared........

Looking at browns club record, maybe just likes doing one season at a club then fancies moving on

But he also plays halfback and has done at a high level, he will play where he is most needed and at the start of the season that looks to be halfback.

Might be looking, if he does well I think he will stay. The older he gets less chance of an NRL deal.

I think in 5/10 years Wilf a lot of the teams will go back to being part time.

Harry Smith and Sneyd prove you just need a steady 7 who can control and kick a team to death.

A consequence of scrapping relegation is that you might have Cas, Salford and London potentially all being relatively uncompetitive for next season, London won't panic buy and Cas and Salford seem to have reduced their playing budgets to maybe try focus on other aspects of IMGball and keep their SL status

The game will be fine just needs clubs to listen instead of doing their own thing which hasn't worked

The huge problem with scrapping relegation is bottom 4 or 5 clubs have nothing to play for from July onwards



So 4 or 5 clubs basically playing friendlies for last 2 months
