A move for Diskin would clearly indicate that Berrigan will play centre next season and would allow us to utilise Washbrook/Whiting at loose fwd.

I think Diskin would be an astute signing especially with what is likely to be avaliable.

the problem with signing a halfback doesn't seem to be how much is left on the cap but more so who is available. even on the rumour thread the best we have come up with is luke robinson (contracted) and a couple of aussies who would be a costly gamble

Well if signing a class hooker fills our void of struggling for a world class outside back then i think it's a perfect move.



Berro showed towards the end of the year that even with a half fit Long and Horne inside of him he has the ability to damage teams in the centres. Really like the look of this move if it comes off.

Would be a very positive move and I cant see how it changes our search for a half back.



It does however as you state mean that Berro's future is now seen in the centre thus strengthening our back line IMO.

Think this may well be a case of number 1 priority been half back cover and a prop.

Number 2 priority been opportunities that arise that will strengthen us but that we dont go looking for.

Quite. The priority will not have changed but if opportunity to sign players to strengthen the squad comes along then it would be foolish not to act.



The fact that signing one playing can strengthen 2 positions is a bonus!

Then take off money for contract upgrades.

Don't think Yeaman or Radford have been reduced and if so not by much.



I think we have room to bring in two players and believe we will.
