If you read my post I agree he is a fantastic player...however definatley not a legend in the role model sense for the game, though he may well be one for the lads!

Can't see why any Hull fan would get dewy eyed over long. He did well for saints but so what? Has been a disaster signing for Hull

Hanley is a legend too and he went to prison. Longy has had a few scrapes but he is a RL legend in my eyes.

Just watched super league extra time and they said that Longy is off to a north west club.

According to a mate of mine who lives in the West and was listening to BBC Radio Merseyside tonight, Sean said he was going to be commentating for them next season!!

sean longs a legend in this country and hes been great for us when on the field...its disapointing that hes had so many injuries whilst being at hull but im still glad weve had him and hope he can rip it up elsewhere if he leaves us!

Longy says he rebroke his thumb in the derby game prior to the shoulder injury. The broken thumb would've probably put him out for the season as it needing repinning.

bloody hell his body must be batterd the amount of serious injuries hes had in his carrer, surely its time for longy to call it a day

If you have read his book you realise he would have had less injuries if he had been run over by a truck.
