I believe there was some truth in the Sammut rumour, however if this has fallen through as you say it leaves us with an exceptionally threadbare squad and i just don`t see any quality becoming available anytime soon

not free agent sorry, i meant better option. the player being mentioned would involve a substantial fee if it is true and prob as good as the o donnell and hoffman signings who are both imo, world class
