Does anybody know if there is communication between Linesperson and Ref ??



If a dodgy tackle happens and the ref is a bit baffled as what happened, then surely it would make sense for the linesperson to communicate with the ref !!!

Touuch judges are a waste of time, they never spot anything, a forward pass a high shot you can guarantee they will miss them all.

Yes there is a communication kit for all Championship and Northern Rail Cup games. You may sometimes see the officials testing it in their warm up.



Touch Judges aren't a waste of time. They often feed most info through their com kits and the referee then decides to act on the info.



They very rarely make it obvious that they have spotted it incase the referee chooses to over rule which will then make all the officials look stupid.



Also if the TJ is signalling for anything like a forward pass the ref has too look before the TJ can signal it
