I make that 7 home grown players ready for Super dooper league, I also make it that we need 7 new signings on board to get the correct balance of the team. We could be short on wingers but Ford can player there if needed as can Yates.

Lee Doran has improved lately but he is still a penalty machine i would have thought you would want to get rid and try to find someone else. |

Being picky I don't think we can count Paddy Flynn as a home grown player. I think a club trained player has to be with his club three full years prior to his 21st birthday and I don't think Paddy would qualify.

If this is the case though how can Halifax even apply for a franchise since they dont run any reserve sides?
I think that rule will be open to discussion. |

Swinton could apply if they won the NRC. The point I'm making is that it's ok waxing lyrical about our junior set up, but some of this talent HAS to filter through to the first team a lot more than it has done. It looks like Flynn won't qualify and Ostick is leaving. |

The lack of a reserve side doesn't stop a club from applying. They just won't get a point - like those clubs who will still have crap stadiums in 2012. As far as i know though, plans are in place to resurrect a reserve grade team next year. |
